We booked the cottage for a weekend to attend a wedding in the area. On arrival we had to open up the entire house as it smelt of mould and rising damp, and unfortunately the guests in the front bedroom had to endure the smell for the entire weekend. The place was tidy enough but cleanliness was a sub par, the place feels like it needs a good scrub down. The decor is pretty dated, but is well equipped & has almost everything you needed for a weekend away. Although the wine glasses didnt fit in the dishwasher. All in all, the location was the big win, the rest was ok.
Great house great location, we love it as do our children. Nobleview always has a lovely sea breeze. The design allowed the kids to have their own space while we relaxed with the cricket and tennis. I think it is the third or fourth time we have rented but I know it wont be the last.
We recently stayed at Banyon for Christmas 2018. The house is positioned well and has a few great attributes. HOWEVER, despite being told it was under new ownership and some changes had been made, we feel we didn't receive value for money.
Great booking company. Easy to contact and quick to respond to emails. Very straight forward booking and payment process. Would happily use south coast holiday rentals again :)
We have stayed here twice now and love this house. It accommodates our big family well and having good quality kitchenware really adds to the experience. The only issues I noticed is that on really cool windy days, the back room is really drafty as there is a dog door and open floor boards, this would be a n issue in the cooler months. Also, with the new glass pool fencing, the gate does not close properly unless someone manually pulls the adjacent panel back by hand. This is a huge concern with small children. Other than these issues, the place is perfect!
